Submit an Event for IASARC’s Global SAR Calendar
The International Association of Search and Rescue Coordinators (IASARC) maintains the Global SAR Calendar as a centralized, open-access clearinghouse for events that advance the search and rescue profession worldwide. The calendar serves to foster international coordination, facilitate interagency training, and share critical developments across maritime, aeronautical, and land SAR operational domains.

Eligibility Criteria
To be posted on the Global SAR Calendar, submitted events must satisfy the following requirements:
Subject Matter Relevance: Events must directly pertain to search and rescue operations, SAR mission coordination (SMC), search theory, emergency response, SAR technology/R&D, policy development, or specialized practitioner training.
Organizational Credibility: Events must be hosted or sponsored by a recognized government body, military/coast guard agency, accredited academic/research institution, chartered non-profit rescue organization, or established industry partner. Purely commercial sales pitches or vendor demonstrations will not be approved unless embedded within a broader accredited industry conference.
Accessibility: Events must be open to international, national, or regional SAR practitioners, administrators, or volunteers. Confidential, classified, or strictly internal single-unit operational debriefs are not eligible for public listing.
Information Integrity: Submissions must include complete details, active URL links, and verified contact information.
Review & Approval Process
Submission Timeline: Submissions should be made at least 60 calendar days prior to the event start date (120 days recommended for major international conferences or large-scale exercises).
Verification: IASARC administrators reserve the right to verify the legitimacy of host organizations and listed points of contact prior to publication.
Editorial Discretion: IASARC reserves the right to edit descriptions for length, formatting, and standard terminology, or to decline listings that do not align with IASARC’s mission and professional standards.
Disclaimer: Inclusion on the Global SAR Calendar does not constitute formal endorsement or certification by IASARC unless explicitly stated. Event organizers maintain sole responsibility for event execution, registration management, and operational safety.
